Hi, I’ve recently come across this picture, but am completely stumped by what this car is and who is driving. Any help is appreciated

Well done Eltawater. I was going to say it is a Maserati 250F, but did not know the driver. A previous boss owned the 250F used as a 'template' for one of the model makers, Burago I think.
