Well done to them. Fabio+Mercedes=success.
Shame you never see a big british sponsor. The last one I am aware of was Rich Energy lol.

Isn't the main sponsor Petronas? (as in they get their name in the official team title).

The only other one I can think of from recent(ish) times would be Vodafone.

I mean I have nothing against their company and I’m sure Alpine’s designers can place the sponsor logos a bit more sympathetically than that visual, but it’s still risks looking shocking.

Isn’t this the same team that was once Benneton? I guess Gucci is a bit of an upgrade.

And surely not coincidence that the CEO of Gucci's parent company used to be CEO of Alpine.

Ineos own 1/3 of the team, but their logos on the car are quite discreet.

I would imagine that the team gear will be a tad on the expensive side.

Respect to Flávio for landing a big fish title sponsor for a midfield team. That livery looks a bit footballer, though, to put it as politely as possible. That’s probably because footballers, their WAGs & those who aspire to look like them are Gucci’s target market. They won’t care that people like me think it looks chavvy.

Black and gold livery sounds good, although the 2011-15 ones lacked the crispness of the JPSs. Hope BWT don't leave the grid and take their pink somewhere.

That will almost certainly be the situation. Flávio was beefing about them last week, clearly they weren’t keen to share either Gucci or BWT.

Smacks a bit of Frank Williams and Canon sponsorship.

Also Flávio didn’t bag this sponsor, as a previous poster pointed out. Gucci have a previous Alpine team principal as CEO.

Luca is angling for a way back in.

I have a Gucci watch!

Not sure what people are flapping about, just another luxury brand attaching itself to F1.

How some of these companies make so much money I have no idea. I looked at their brands and have never heard of any of them. And they’re in all sorts of sectors which to me just sounds like “we do anything, and none of it well”! However, they’re loaded and I’m not so what do I know
