So I'm guessing they'll be ditching the 'north' and 'south' events and combining them into one in 'the middle'?

Never been to one but know a lot of folk who have and really enjoyed it.

As Silverstone is a miserable dump of a place that can be grey and windswept on a day the rest of the country is basking in sunshine and another 'heatwave' is this really a good move? Obviously it's for commercial reasons but....

Isn't this basically another "Silverstone Festival"?

But without the racing (which is utterly fabulous at the Silverstone Festival!)

Might be to do with Jodie Schechter putting Laversroke Park on the market.

The northern event hasn't taken place for a few years now, so this change brings it further north, making the festival accessible to more people.

The rumour is because he is getting divorced and moving to New Zealand.

A bargain at £58 million:

I always thought that the big building behind the house would be where he stored a car collection, put it turns out that it's a sports hall for the indoor tennis court and squash court.

I wondered if they'd end up replacing the 'festival' part of the Silverstone Classic (sorry, 'Festival'), and doing the racing the same weekend?

I've been to the classic a few times and I've never actually ventured to the fesitval area in the evenings.
