Bodystyle, engine configuration, fuel, whatever. Is there a whole section of motoring you're missing out on?

For me:
Never had a 3-wheeler
Never had a hot hatch (I've had a 205 and 147, but not the "hot" models)
Never had a V8
I've also never had a bike with a triple engine. Or a 2-stroke, come to that!

Pretty much the only kinds of cars I've had are Sports and Estates! Love them both and dislike SUVs that replace them.

Not had a pick up but always liked the idea

(Almost) never had anything other than a bog-standard water cooled inline 4; the only exception was a 600cc air cooled flat twin in a Citroen Dyane.

Never had an estate car. I'm from an era where estate cars screamed I wanted a sporty saloon or coupe but had kids and the Mrs. told me to get an estate for them and the dog. Tongue in cheek but I've always preferred the saloon shape.

Never had a V8. Getting the itch for one now but can't justify selling the 340i as it does everything I need and I'm using what I would be paying in car payments to invest for early retirement.

Never had a 2 seater sports car. Always wanted one since getting driven about in an old mates X1/9 back in my A level school days but I've always needed more practicality and never justified the costs of running 2 cars.

Never owned a van; I know many are mad about VW T5s etc.
Never owned a modern(ish) convertible sports car.
Never owned a supercar (though the organisers of a "Supercar Sunday" show at a local country house allowed my 996C4S to attend I felt something of a fraud!)
Not owned an EV or hybrid, yet.
Not owned a V12 or V10, which I do want to rectify one day.

Loads of stuff that I don't care about, so irrelevant.

But from the things I do car about, I've never had a convertible or a 2 seater. I'll get around to it when the kids grow up I hope!

This should just about cover it.

Never had:
  • less than 4 cylinders
  • more than 8 cylinders
  • less than 4 wheels (except when one has fallen off)
  • electric or hybrid (mild or otherwise) powered car
  • less than 4 gears
  • a CVT gearbox
  • a dash-mounted gearchange
  • a dogleg gearbox
  • an automated manual gearbox
  • a dual-clutch gearbox
  • an SUV or MPV
  • a convertible (and prefer cars without sunrooofs)
  • an off roader (or a Chelsea tractor)
  • anything other than British, German or Italian cars (Austin/BL, VW, Jag, BMW, Alfa)
  • more than 2 cars at any one time

Never had an SUV or MPV. Never wanted either. Never had a saloon larger than 3-series sized - had large estate cars but not saloons. Never had a large GT or a properly luxurious large convertible.

Never had a convertible. Noisier, windier, insecure, sitting baking in the sun does not appeal. Convertibles are fine if they are your mates and you're on a 15 minute drive to the next pub.

Be nice to nail both down with the next 'fun' car....

It depends on how niche you want to go, but...

I've never had a hot hatch (a few warm-ish ones, but nothing truly 'hot')
I've never had a convertible (though the roof could come off the Exige and the old Land Rover)
I've never had an Audi (a few other brands too, but that is the most 'mainstream' one I've completely bypassed)
I've never had anything French (though do like classic Citroens)

80 cars in 42 years, never had 4 WD, surprisingly.
