Jobless mum's with big new cars

Hi guys been a while. Bit of a random one but has anyone else in their area noticed a sudden increase in jobless and single mum's/women in brand new cars recently? Particularly SUV type things? There's a woman who lives on my road with two young kids, single, never worked and she comes from quite a rough family and last year she landed herself a brand new 25 plate Tiguan. I've also noticed in the past year more and more of the mum's at my kids school playground are turning up in brand new 75 plate cars and just the other week one turned up in a 26 plate Hyundai Tucson (she also does not have a job). This is the odd thing is that none of these women work and half of them don't have partners who support them either. I just can't help but wonder how do they afford it and has anyone noticed this or is it just where I live? It's quite bizarre because unlike them I work full time and would love to get a brand new car but I can't afford to buy one nor do I have enough money left each month to pay finance despite working full time.

I would guess that the vast majority of them are motability cars, either that or rented using disability payments that they receive for their autistic child.

However they afford it, they seem more capable of providing for their family than the OP or possibly managing their finances better?

Perhaps the OP should ask them and maybe learn something from them.

Obviously on some sort of benefits fiddle, or claiming their kid has ASD, or are prostituting themselves, or some other mechanism that means that they are completely undeserving compared to poor hard working you.

I got speaking to a lady at a cafe in Surrey about a week ago . Really pleasant conversation that she instigated waiting for her coffee.
I had seen her park a huge new Audi SUV next to my £1500 motorcycle and joking said I was glad she was a skilled parker .
She went on to tell me she was not sure how big it was when she got it online from Motobility and it was paid for as she had a son with learning difficulties.
I don't know more details,or the severity of her son's condition. However I did a quick on line look up on the car £60k new .
