A recent thread was posted talking about how the values of coupe's are holding up well has show a lot of interest.

So I thought I'd start one for all the fans of coupe's to show off their cars past and present...after all who doesn't like a good picture thread, and if you like a few words about your car.

Here's my pride and joy...a 2009 987.2 Cayman S, I've owned it for fourteen years, I bought it with 3,500 miles and its now covered 21,000 miles.

Out and about (to the pub) in the sunshine this week.

And one of the first (of many) coupes I had in my stable of ropey cars, many years ago.

I've had various coupes over the years but when I was living Germany, one of the neighbours had one of these. I'd never seen one before and I consider myself a bit of a car-bore....

Not my image so credit to whoever took it

My collection of budget Coupes (and my Swift Sport !)

The blue one is my Hyundai Coupe F2, quite rare now, 1 of 11 manuals left.
Celica is a Thunder Grey T-Sport.
Black one is my wife's Hyundai Coupe SIII

Some of the photos show, what looks to me, like 2 door saloons.

My E82 125i. Bought it 12 years ago on 56k, now about to tick over 190k.

In that time I've spent 1.5x the purchase price on maintenance, and over 3x the purchase price on Super Unleaded - and it's been worth every penny.

Oh and £300 on a remap that's made it very entertaining indeed smile

This is my thread haha! I do love a coupé!
Here are mine, although I accept one of them is a part time coupé

Given that everyone is posting their coupé history, I'll take the opportunity to add some more of mine. It's great to reminisce about them actually.

Short lived but a lovely thing whilst it lasted.

The V10 getting used properly.

Brilliant fun and mostly broken, but I really enjoyed owning this for a while.

Lovely 987 - I had one in 2008 - absolutely loved it.

OP, how about adjust the thread title to, show off your coupes past and present? Would show evolution differing tastes over times etc. just a thought!

Coupes are up there with estates as the best cars, for defo.

I do find the category a bit broad though (according to some people)... I think a coupe is sports or sporty car or grand tourer, two doors etc etc... but that thngs like the E46 coupe is far too much like a saloon to be a coupe, and at the other end of the spectrum a lotus exige is too sporty to be a coupe. Not all hard top sports cars are coupes.

A hard top convertible is a hard top convertible. A hard top convertible is not a coupe.

My 1973 P5B coupe. I've had it 5 years. A brilliant place to waft between petrol stations.

I think this qualifies a coupe. Sold it a while ago.
