This looks like an expensive insurance claim.

He is Italian. They don't see anything coming as they are distracted by wild gesticulations.

According to the article the vehicle was unmanned and handbrake hadn't been applied; not sure how true that is given the car seemed to be going a fair speed.

That will be on the 'downhill' runway area.

Helps the planes take off quicker as they're going 'downhill'. Also makes them slow down quicker when they land facing 'uphill'

Italian logic.

I had an exception on one of my insurance policies that I was not covered on airfields. The problem being that I worked on a site that used to be an airfield and still had a runway.

I wondered what had happened previously to cause such a clause to be added. I figured it included some form of red car, an aircraft and started with “watch this…”

Looked like the driver's door opened after the crash. Need more footage.

I think you'll find that in Italy they are called 'testiculations'

Unless it was the airbag going off it looked like there was someone in it, and, yes, the door did appear to be opened.

I stand corrected.

Testa = head
Testarossa = red head
Teste = heads
Testi = texts/lyrics

So it's someone waving books around!

On a brighter note it could have crashed into something even more expensive - Like an engine on one of those 737s...

Thats quite a standard insurance exemption. I used to maintain airfield equipment and my employer religiously pointed this out to me and explained if I hit something they would be liable for the repair costs so be exceptionally careful.
