Unusual convoy, M6 Northbound, Monday...

I passed three car transporters. Nothing unusual there, you might think, except for a second I thought I was on the set of The Italian Job, or more likely Monte Carlo or Bust.
All three were loaded with 60's and early 70's rally cars: Porsche 911s, Minis, Lancias, I think a Renault 17(!), Alfas... all stickered-up and looking ready for business. Is it a Euro-thrash in reverse? Are the French doing the Gumball Rally across Scotland?

Someone must know something...
