Audi A8 4.0 diesel c2003. Any good?
Discussion
Few questions re these as keen on buying especially after seeing this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRkpQ0oxmsA:
Therefore:
1) Is it realistic to get a decent one - albeit with highish miles - at auction for c6-7K?
2) Can you get it checked out by Audi and then buy an Audi warranty?
3) Any real life experience of long term ownership, big bills, realistic servicing cost etc?
4) What finance/leasing companies, if any, offer cars with the printout of what has been done to it since new?
Many thanks.

I'd think that the engine will be fine, not familiar with the Diesels as we don't get them in America
However.. an early A8 like that can cripple you with repairs.. it's all the electrical stuff than will bankrupt you. Good friend of mine's husband is an Audi Service director, he loves those cars, they make him an awful lot of money.
