Hi, I am a technical fool who is about as practical as a chocolate fireguard.

I have to reconnect a battery to a car. Is there an order in which I re attarch the terminals or doesn't it matter? I am thinking pos then neg.....but that's probably 100% wrong.

It worked! No explosions, burnt out ECUs or acid burns. Really, this level if car maintenance is a big deal to me. Thanks for your help.

If it makes you feel any better I am similarly inept (but somewhat more foolhardy)

I needed a new water pump fitting so decided to give it a bash. So far all I've managed is to remove most of the front end of the car and the left the radiator in the boot now it's gone dark hehe
