Is there any accountability? (TFL / Arriva)
Discussion
Chaps,
Piss well and truly boiled this morning. Coming up to a traffic-light controlled crossroads (in Enfield, N London), I watched a bus move onto the yellow box junction with no clear exit, and sit there blocking the junction through five changes of the lights. The junction was completely blocked as the bus was preventing from leaving the yellow box, and it thus blocked the other road as well for nearly 10 minutes.
Being the angry young man type, I'd like to complain about this. I have the bus route number and the operator (Arriva) from the side of the bus, and the time and location of the incident. However, the Arriva website doesn't allow complaints, it says that 'If you have a comment, complaint or suggestion about any of our services, please contact Transport for London', with a handy link to the TFL website. However, I happen to know that complaints on the TFL website are simply ignored - or at least I heard nothing more about the one I entered on there 6 months ago.
On this basis, is there any way of complaining about the bus service? Is there any accountability for such driving? Or should we sit back and accept it?
Is there anyone from either TFL or Arriva on here who may be able to make some suggestions?
Oli.
