Autologic Diagnostic Charge?

My Wife has just come back from an independent BMW specialist to get a level control fault with our 5 Series Touring checked.
They have diagnosed an air leak on the rear suspension unit bellows and are preparing a quote to repair as the car is still safe to drive.
The bill for this is £33.50 labour (1/2 and hour) and £55 parts (described as Autologic Diagnostic Charge) Plus VAT. all in this is £106.20 to be told "yep your car is not working its the air suspension" which i already new.... and I'm still going to have to pay to get the thing actually repaired!
is this reasonable or should I wind my neck in?
Incidentally any ideas on what it should cost to be put right?

Actually I just thought of something, if they didn't have the machine, they surely would have diagnosed the issue by taking the car apart, may have taken more time and cost more. Probably shouldn't be down as parts though, that's misleading,

It's an expensive bit of kit, but speeds up things as otherwise they'd need to run a whole bunch of tests.
Yes, it is 5 mins plugged into a computer, you can even hit diagnose and walk away and get a cuppa, but it's the fact they had that bit of kit.
I have seen plenty of garages (BMW included) who don't understand what the diagnostics are saying, and start changing parts in a shotgun style, hoping that eventually one will sort the problem.
What I don't see are refunds for the 2-3 parts that were tried and found not to be the cause.
Still, "Parts" isn't the right word, but maybe they didn't have any other options to put it down on the bill, ie. they have a time based price already added, and only one slot for fixed price stuff, in this cases, with the title parts.
