I've lost my horn!
Discussion
Hi folks
A bit of DIY troubleshooting advice needed. I have 1991 Defender 90 as a weekend/ off road toy. I took it out for a long run today to get a feel for what may be wrong with it since ive only had it 2 weeks. I heard nothing that worried me, as i'm OK with the spanners, except, for some odd reason the horn just won't work!
So, as I know zero about electrics, any advice on troublshooting to find my horn again?

Find the horn under the bonnet and see if it has a feed going to it when you press the noise button.
If it does then the horn is bust, if it doesn't then either a wire is broken or the switch is

Most of the time it will be that one of the spade connectors has corroded and the wire come off.
You'll find the horn tucked behind the passenger side headlight and it's a bit of a sod to get to.
My first port of call would be to tape down the horn button then reach inside the passenger side wing, find the horn and wiggle the wires/check for bad connections.
ETA don't forget to check the fuse too.
