That's right, 1963. A good ten minutes long, I found it fascinating, I just wish it had been filmed in areas I know smile What's surprising is the amount of traffic in the various towns, somehow I thought there'd be less...

how brilliant it must have been to live in that age. Not a single ricer/chav car around. every single car looks brilliant

Great video, proof that there has always been nob heads on the road though. Even before it was busy.

I love that;

"He's giving me the V sign. I can't think why he should think I'd be interested in his politics!"

Lovely video.

That music isn't dubbed in, that was just what the air sounded like in those days.

What I find amazing is how little some of that has changed.

What a yob! Hoons up behind the Rapier, flashing and honking like an arse. "Move over, chappy fellow, I am in a Jaaaaaaaag".

A great video, it's amazing how little that stretch of road has changed.

The best point/tip in that video is that (paraphrased) "good acceleration is a safety feature."

It's good to see that bouncy speedometer needles came as standard on new old Jags.

Constantly looking to overtake, commending others on their "turn of speed", hoofing dawdlers out of the way with the horn.

The glory days of motoring for sure.

Oh wow, that's brilliant. I especially liked the drive through Marlborough as I grew up around there and can just about recognise some of the roads.
