Dad let me have a little drive of his Caterham on Sunday on an airfield. Typical british weather decided to pee it down, so I went out and got soaked, but what amazing fun it was biggrin

Here's a little video:

Hope you enjoy the video a fraction as much as I enjoyed doing it biggrin

Cheers

The spin was in very changing conditions (drying up at the end of the day) and trying to go for a fast lap. I put a wheel in a puddle by mistake after overtaking someone then locked up, and fluffed up a downchange locking the diff up. whoops!

For those without easy access to a Caterham, the Caterham drift/slalom days are meant to be great fun - cars set up for oversteer thumbup

I'm a bit tempted by one of these days - are there any opportunities to do any high speed drifting? The quicker you're going, the more fun it is biggrin

Looks great, my dad is thinking about getting a Westfield with an 1800 Zetec, so hopefully I'll be able to drive it on the road and track smile

It's things like that which make me miss my Caterham!

Great, aren't they? They'll do that sort of thing all day long on a wet roundabout airfield.
