It's a statement, saying "well if you're going to drive a Prius, might as well look as daft as possible"....

OP said M3 /A27 so not near Swindon.

Could be the next Civic though.

Cars are registered with O [Oxford area]so could well be Hondas smile

Hides the lines I believe.

It makes it harder to see the lines of the car and work out what it looks like.

To disguise lines, and styling tweaks/cues etc.

That was my first thought, just something about the swage <sp?> line looks like one - but new Civic would make sense too. Anyone with access to AskMid checked the plates?

Doesn't disguise the big rump of a rear end very well though...

My dad claims to have seen a 2 door Jag XF. Is there rumours of a jag coupe or could my dad be imagining things again?

Why don't these cars - that I clearly own - appear on MID?

Looks similar shape to the current Civic so maybe a new one of those.

I know it hides the lines to have them covered in patterns but does any really care what a new Eurobox looks like, given that they all look roughly the same.

Door handles look similar position to current Civic (i.e. rear one on pillar), wonder if its a replacement?

This was mooted some time ago but I haven't heard anything about it for a while.
