Hi all

I have been having a look around for some turbo charged 5 seaters and stumbled across these of which i have to be honest i forgot they were ever made

So what's everyones view on the 3 mps and the 5 mps please and how do they stack up against their competitors of which cost upto £6250 these days

265 brake horse power/4 wheel drive for easily less then circa £6k on a 2006/7 plates sounds like an absolute bargain

Thank you

err i'm confident the 3 mps is fwd!? I do like the look of them and they seem good value for money compared to VXR, ST etc. Cant really help you out on the driving side, go for a test drive in one! The latest 3mps look really nice!

I've not driven one but I do think they look very understated and classy, much moreso than similar offerings from Vauxhall, Ford etc.

I'd go for the 6 MPS, as stated the 3 has the same engine but without the 4WD system.

I really like them, had a couple as company cars. The Sports Aero Kit is a must have as it controls the torque steer a bit more. They're seriously rapid but probably not quite as good to drive as some others in the class but I found for road use they were certainly fast enough and plenty of fun.

They are FWD.

Here's my Readers Cars thread on my 6 MPS.

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

In the last 4 months I've done 10,000 miles and I'm still very happy with it despite a recent major service (£313), 4 new tyres (£400 for Kumhos, which are OK but not ideal) and next month, car tax at £425.

I have a new 3mps at present it replaced my 6mps which I had from new for 4yrs, both company cars.
They are very user friendly and pretty capable.
I prefered the 6 but they hav'nt made a new one yet so went for the 3.
As you said very good value for money and worth a serious look at.
I tracked the 6, not had chance in the 3 yet, It wasn't embarrassed by some very highly rated cars.
