Well apparently 'Supercars by the Sea' didn't go too well...

Many may not have heard of the relatively new event, Icons by the Lake. The premise is simple: iconic cars, next to a lake. Who'd have thought? Virginia Water lake to be specific. The bi-monthly cars and coffee-style supercar meet hosted at the lake's visitor centre is a celebration of some of the finest automobiles that owners and nearby dealerships have to offer. The breakfast meeting is open to everyone and usually starts around 9am and is over by lunchtime. 'Icons' that have attended in the past include everything from the Pagani Zonda and Koenigsegg Agera RS, to a race-spec Dodge Viper GTS and a Spyker C8 Laviolette.

The event certainly brings together a wide variety of different cars, but then everyone there has a shared passion for things that look good and go fast. Best of all it's completely free for spectators and supercar owners to come along and drool over what's on display. The next event is likely to be in April and I can personally recommend that you make every effort to attend!
