Yes, I saw that and chuckled!
I was impressed with his* thoughts on DPF regen lights - or lack thereof. I've got through two DPFs in the space of a year and have wondered myself why they don't have a warning to tell you it's regenerating.

Yes, despite his periodic rants, and me not being a conspiracy theorist (honest) I can kind of buy the ‘engineers wanted an alert light, but marketing didnt’.I was impressed with his* thoughts on DPF regen lights - or lack thereof. I know I’m not experienced with autos, but whenever I’ve had one as a hire car I have to keep my left foot tucked under the seat to stop myself accidentally ‘changing gear’ and getting rear ended. That’s my fault though and I realise I have to adapt!
