As I've just recalled in another thread I spotted a 2002 330ci, UK plates and RHD in Nevada a few years back. Would be interesting to know why it was there. Can anyone beat that?

The bloke was doing a round the world trip.
Also saw a UK Vanquish outside a hotel in Sydney too.

How about in reverse, the furthest away from home car you've seen in the UK?
Only mention it as I was shocked to see a Chinese registered camper van in Fort William a few weeks ago!

Lots of UK plates in Honky. Even seen one in Beijing - more likely that it went via HK rather than overland as it was a Nissan GTR.

Conversely just seen a land rover on Australian plates in the UK.

Remember when it would have been fun for your mates and you to spot a car from the other side of the country?

Or when a long-distance telephone call had the family gathered round?

All a bit quaint in retrospect.

If that was back in 2006/7 then we may have met them up in Widjana Gorge, north west Australia. They'd driven it all the way from London.

It was quite an amazing vehicle, it even had a shower built in!

And that Land Cruiser is my answer.
