Money no object - if you could ONLY own ONE car for the next 3 years of your life - what would you buy?
Blank cheque - all running costs paid for including fuel.
Everything else in your life stays the same tho. Same house, same job, same lifestyle.

Would you get Bugatti Chiron - and do three separate school runs in the morning, and strap IKEA furniture to the roof?
Or something more suited to city life like an Aston Martin Cygnet?
Or a G Class / Focus RS or something completely impractical like the Morgan three wheeler.

Or is everyone just going to say Audi RS6 and cover all bases.

GMA T50. It’s just me, mrs pablo and one child so that’s a seat for everyone and a howling V12 to keep us entertained. fk tip runs, shopping etc, that’s why skip hire and supermarket deliveries are a thing. I do 2-3 days working at home and cycle into the office. I don’t really need the car to do anything except ferry chid around to various sports clubs and take us on to Cornwall a few times a year.

C8 RS6 does it all, boring choice but if it’s just one car to pick that’s the one

Easy

Rolls Royce Ghost

I think it would fit in my garage...just. A Phantom would not.

That’s always been my opinion on RS6, they just do everything you’d ever actually need.

You could take your mum out in it and she wouldn’t have a clue, or take your mate out for a blast and he’d love it.

One day I will have an RS6.

M5 CS

I guess similar to RS6, could enjoy it as a daily driver, would do back road blasts, the odd track day, while still being able to fit the wife and 2 kids with ease for trips away. A supercar the whole family can enjoy.

I'd hate to just have one but if it had to be one and as I'd want a big car for daily duties and DIY etc then I suppose a Lamborghini Urus, but in a dark grey, not one of the bright ones

Much as I would like to say an F40 or a NSX Type R or an original 911R…reality would intrude because I have a wife, daughter and dog so with just one car I need a hatchback or estate. I know my wife wouldn’t want to drive something big so that counts out most SUVs like the Urus or Range Rover.

Possibly an Integrale? In yellow. With some subtle modifications.

M5 CS for me.

Wouldn't be ideal for trackdays but otherwise I cant really think of a situation where it doesn't fit the bill.

Very tempted to buy one as my next car albeit it would be a standard M5.

I don't think I'd enjoy having just one car, regardless how much it cost someone else. If I had to put up with that, it would be because my bank account would be sufficiently inflated to allow me to do something which made me happy after this 3 year restriction was up, so based on that I'd probably just get something relatively simple but mission-capable for the 3 year boredom period like a Ford Kuga or similar.

As nice as something like a GMA T.33 would be, I'd resent it for how much it cost whilst not being able to do some of the simplest of things I need as an independent functioning adult.

Out of interest have you ever driven one? "Never meet your hero" type car, very underwhelming but each to their own.

Pagani Zonda would do for me (possibly literally!) as I don't need to use it for commuting or kids

Yes, I know it's flawed but, the heart wants what the heart wants. I would just stare at it all day.

Probably the new M3 Touring when it comes out (because dog and toddler). (Alternatively something Alpina flavoured in Touring form).

Might be able to get away with a Ferrari FF though.
