What did I see?
Discussion
As many petrolheads will know, when you see a car you cant identify it can be infuriating, so i am hoping PH can help. I warn you, there is not a lot to go on!
I only saw the rear of the carf. The car was low and wide and had sort of triangular shaped rear light clusters. It had the look of a 90's low volume super car about it. I would say it was V8 powered from the noise, but I could be wrong!
The car was driving through petersfield today and it was dark blue (in case local knowledge of a particular car helps!)
The closest I can find is a jaguar XJR-15. Imagine this, but with triangular shaped light clusters... and no wing

My brain went to a marcos, or a bristol fighter or something. But its not those. It looked wider and lower anyway.

Jaguar XJ220, Invicta S1, Callaway C12?
We have a winner, I knew PH would prevail. Thank you! Here is the exact car I saw (I recognise the plate)
According to the article, one of only 7 made. 5 owned by the same owner, 1 in germany and this one. Not surprised i didn't recognise it!
&width=1600)
And from the rear, with the "triangular" light cluster, which may have been a bit misleading on my part!
