Hi all,

Insurance is up for renewal.

Just a quick one to ask what the must haves would be in terms of cover...

Legal cover?
Breakdown cover?
Personal injury cover?

Obviously the more options you tick, the higher the premium.

Really the bare minimum would do me - no need for courtesy car etc. But do I really need things like legal and personal injury cover?

If you just want the most basic of cover, and don't want the backup of legal assistance, or breakdown cover, then crack on.

It's really a matter of personal circumstances and preference.

Personally I don't have breakdown cover as it's included with my warranty. I also have NCB protection as I have 10yrs+ NCB. As for legal cover, it may be worth checking if you have that on your home insurance, and what it covers.

I tend to have Legal on my house insurance and my bank has breakdown, I tend to protect my no claims just because I've got 10+ years (seems they only count 9 now).
