Just bought a new car, well in fact a 2018 VW Caddy van - it's great ...
And recently, got a brand new motorcycle as a big birthday pressie (to myself) !
Beats me, not having had any vehicle as new as these ever before, last being a 2006 vehicle, I'm finding 'learning the new tech and all the knobs and dials' bewildering.
It's a helluva haul through the multi-lingual small print owners manuals to first work out what options are in fact installed, and then how to use them all.
Wouldn't it be good if manufacturers, or some other keen souls, could produce some simple videos that take you through all the basic controls to safely drive the bloomin' things, and then maybe a bit more depth sections on the advanced stuff ?
Is it me, or does anyone agree ...maybe I'm getting too old.
Maybe there are such vids around ???
Cheers all, Joe

YouTube. VW has a channel on how to use most things.

What are you struggling with?

my gosh, thank you so much Nickbrapp - I'm searching there now and finding lots. Guessing these are specific to certain features, like nav system, air con etc.
Don't know if there are any new users general guides to any model ?
The bike is a rather special MV Agusta (a dream of mine) ...it's got launch control/cruise control/traction assist/abs, clutch-less quick gear change etc etc !!! bewildering ...but going to be exciting.

A couple of years ago I picked up a hire car at Copenhagen airport. I had booked a Passat, but they "upgraded" me to a an XC90. I couldn't even work out how to get the excreable thing started. I then had to drive across Denmark on a wet road with poor markings, and the lane assistance pushing me and pulling me all over the show... I was not amused

Many have an on-line owners manual. You download one specific to your VIN. That cuts out all the extraneous bits.

I recently discovered that (at least on the 2011-2018 Audi A6) many cars had the owner's handbook uploaded to the car itself, and it includes videos on the car's operation Every day's a school day!

Sorry OP, no idea on commercial vehicles.

Yup, my F30 has the handbook on the cars system (as well as a physical book, and as said, a downloadable one on my iPad).
Very surprised that VW digital manuals are only for cars after 2018, and not for commercial vehicles at all.
