I have a new 2022 T-Roc R. I would like to fit a set of splash guards (not mud flaps) to it but VW do not supply/make any that will fit the rear bumper of the 'R'. Apparently it is a different shape to the Style and R-Line models.
I have enquired from aftermarket suppliers and get a similar response...or silence.
Would I be correct in thinking that, as a general practice, the aftermarket supplier takes the oem part and copies it, they do not design their own ? And so there will be nothing available until VW make something...if they do ?
Only other solution is to get a cheap set and see if I can 'make' them fit !
Cheers
Brian.

I don’t think there would be much of a modifying market if everyone was just copying the OE stuff.

Got an R line tiguan, they don't make them for those either, strange because no car looks better with mud up the sills. Except:

I've mostly always fitted all least front flaps to my cars, not only does it stop dirt it prevents road rash to the sills and bottom of the doors. Nothing like a nice pair of flaps..
