There has only been a short article on PH about the demand of the Koenigsegg CC850 with just a side note mention about it's transmission.

In this JWW video, Christian Von Koenigsegg explains the car and it's transmission:
I find it absolutely fascinating and the engineering genius of Christian Von Koenigsegg is unbelievable.
He is such an underrated car designer and engineer, or lets say he and his work should be better known, especially amongst car people.
It's always niche inventions, that don't get a breakthrough, for different reasons I'm sure, but probably mainly due to costs. I mean stuff like the camless engine is pure genius!
The Drive series /INSIDE KOENIGSEGG on youtube is very interesting and highly watchable.
