Taxing scalextric cars

Yes seemingly within 2 year they're going to get taxed. Yes we all know it's emissions but still called "road tax" and these scalextric things are using the roads therefore should be taxed.
It's ironic though, cars with 1ltr 3 cyl petrol engines up to this 100gm s
te don't pay but a bike with the same size engine ie say Triumph 955 etc pay 80 quid. Something not right.
