Hi all need to store my rusty 1973 Audi 100 coupe S correctly. It has been stored in a tent but sadly after 3 years it’s failed, sun damage has caused it rip and tear 😢
Looking at the Yardmaster Metal garage, anyone used one? I’m guessing it will be too hot in the summer, condensation in the winter… but if I used an air chamber or something like that could it work?

Why not get an outdoor carcoon.

They work very well….although I keep getting pre school kids knocking on asking I’d they can have a go in the bouncy castle laugh

How long do they last? Also was worried about a rat or something chewing it… do they get a lot of sun damage?

Got to be better than a tent hasn’t it?

I’ve got a few air chambers on the go and they keep cars in very good condition in my experience.
They are, however, in draughty wooden garages so condensation isn’t much of a problem.

I’d just look at keeping the environment in the metal shed ok, perhaps with fans to keep air moving or maybe a dehumidifier inside the air chamber.

I’d just do plenty of research because a dehumidifier turned up too high can do nasty things to rubber and that kind of thing.

They are pretty sturdy material on the bases. ( a bit like a thick tent bases) this is what you drive the cat onto. The top 7/8 which is a lighter material zips into the lower base and the fans inflate it. It’s simple but effective.

No rat is going to be interested IMO and it’s a reflective outer layer so sun damage not an issue. I use from October to April and a summer cover the rest of the year.
