Car clubs. I am missing something?
Discussion
There are obviously a dearth of single make car clubs, never been much of a fan of those, all of the chav groups and the high end groups like SCC Private Members, Auto Vivendi and SC:U.K., but there doesn’t seem to be anything in the middle ground for your average person that wants to hang out with like minded people.
Or are my Google skills truely crap?

Have a look here and see what is local to you:

While these will be primarily motorsport-based a lot do have general car events/social meets etc.

Whilst there are probably not 'clubs' in the traditional sense, there seem to be plenty of meetups of general motoring enthusiasts each weekend.
Events like PH's Sunday Service, numerous 'breakfast clubs' around the country, and destination venues like the Ace Cafe, Caffeine&Machine, The Motorist etc.

If you're in or around Silverstone these guys are worth a look, they organise meets and have a really good mixture of cars

^^^^^^^^^^^ Definitely do this. There are multi-make car clubs organising a wide variety of motoring activities from stage rallies to charity car shows all over the country. https://www.motorsportuk.org/clubs-organisers/find...

We're based in Derbyshire and as members of the HRCR have taken part in driving events from Lincolnshire to Wiltshire and met some great people and their cars. All the events have been organised by individual regional car clubs.
