M42 motorway cameras

[TRIUMPHBULLET]

Hi all does anyone know if M42 traffic cameras record and if so is it possible to obtain footage?
I was involved in a collision last night approx 20:45 between J5 & J6 where a hgv in the middle lane pulled into the nearside lane and hit my car damaging it from the drivers door mirror back.
I did have my own dashcam but the data is corrupted and useless and I want to cover my backside.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that the Highways agency may have coverage of an incident although it is not guaranteed.
