Trying to identify a car that has two pairs of upright oval headlights, something like the picture, but possibly slightly different layout. They were definitely uneven.

I think it might be a crossover or SUV, the lights seemed quite high up but I was in the TT so could just be a big car.

Any ideas?

I'd ruled the W211 out because they look like they should have a square top, but actually that's pretty close

Thanks, they had the cheapness and mismatched colour of the "before" picture in that too

Thanks. Funny enough, one of the very vague ideas I had from somewhere deep in my memory was some kind of early Kia SUV or pre-crossover or something similar. I think the inner lights on the Shuma are too round and I don't think I've ever seen one in real life, so it's a long shot.

Based on that picture I think the square top is too obvious in the 210, the 211 pic above looks more likely, and I'd have said the lights were smaller too, although hard to judge at night in a rear view.

Is that an LS? I'd imagine I'd remember them as more triangular but can't find a picture with the lights on to check.

That's a Mk3 you've posted, google Lexus GS MK2 for confirmation above poster was correct.

Still not convinced I'm afraid, not oval enough.

It's not a likely option in the UK, but you said it might be an SUV, and the Lexus version of the Land Cruiser had quad lights.
