Used car export to France VAT question

I have found a used car (VW T6 Camper at a dealer) that is advertised as VAT qualifying (eg 25k + VAT).

I will be taking it to France and registering it there (during registration I will be paying VAT in France).

Do I have to pay the VAT and them claim it back, or can I export it straight away and not pay VAT?

Whatever I buy I will pay VAT in France, so if I can save the VAT in the UK it will be a bonus.
