Replacement Hire Car After Minor Accident (Auxillis)
Discussion
Hi all,
Had a 1mph disaster reversing out of a parking space: undertray caught on the curb and pulled half the front off.
All being handled and I have excess protection so no worries there.
Anyway Churchill will provide a hire car via 'Auxillis'. Never been in this situation before, so thought I'd check if there's anything to watch out for. As I understand it if I happen to total hire car too then I'll just have to pay my current excess I assume?
Not yet found out how long repairs will take, so depending on that slightly on the fence as to whether I should bother with the hire car. Feels like more admin!
Any horror stories with this company?

Do you have another car ? Are they supplying a car or is it a car on a credit hire agreement, if the former, you'll be fine, if the latter then you may need to later prove it was essential to have the car.
As it seems to be a claim with no 3rd party to cover tye cost I would presume this is the former scenario and you ticked the Courtesy car cover box, in which case you should be all good.
