So its come to renewal for my car and Admiral have quoted me £6546.51 to renew my insurance, obviously I’m not going to pay that - I’ve been quoted £1501.51 by ‘got you covered’ but I’ve never heard of them or known anyone to use them before at all so is it worth risking it and having the hassle of dealing with a potentially dodgy company or should I pay extra (next cheapest is LV at £2900) or would you suggest I get another car that has far cheaper insurance with a reputable brand?

Also if anyone can suggest a good insurance company to get a quote from that would be much appreciated. Unfortunately I am 23 with cancelled insurance and now 6 points..I currently drive a BMW 430D X drive and was paying £1900 this year with cancelled insurance (but only recently got 6 points)

You might need to move over onto a more sedate vehicle for a while if you want to avoid high premiums.

Did you get the 6 points for an insurance offence?
