You know you "shouldn't" but you still want one...

There are loads of vehicles which are realistically crap/unsuitable/useless/whatever but you can't help but want one - what are your dirty little secret desires?
Me? I've got a soft spot for US pick-up trucks - had 2 Lightnings (which were just stupily fun) and a 2004 RAM (which wasn't as good). These days I find myself looking with envious eyes at something like a RAM TRX - or a normal RAM or even a dually, there's just something about them that appeals (the price less so!!)

Lincoln Continental Mark V
With these things they might be crap, impractical or whatever but in terms of why you desire them they're not anybody elses business so crack on..... However, if you want to own one of Saddam Husseins old Benzes as he used it to round up young women for the amusements of his sons then that'd be a bit problematic....

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 V8
Ford LTD (RHD Australian version, breifly sold in the UK in the early 1980s)
I'd also consider a Lada Niva, but Russia's invasion of Ukraine means I wouldn't feel comfortable owning one right now.
Edit:
I've also been hankering after a Fiat Strada (Ritmo) Abarth 130

Late 90s Suburban; crap fuel economy, plasticky interior and sluggish performance, yet there is something just cool about them. Someone not far from me in Scotland had a '99 Australian-RHD model up for sale for a few thousand a few years ago that looked pretty good in a shed kind of way, but I never went for it. Still think about it to this day.

Purely for nostalgia, a Marina!
These were so much a part of my early years growing up, my dad had 2 and my nanny had seemingly fleets of them, buying a new one every 2 years.
A damask red saloon or a sandglow estate would sit nicely in my garage.
Hmm, my mum had a Purple Marina TC, was old when she had it, dont need to own one for the nostalgia, just sticking my head in one at a car shown is enough. Funnily enough my uncle bought a red coupe, very nice example and had a sit in that, again, nice enough but no desire to own one but credit to those who do and keep them nice/show them etc, it is appreciated !These were so much a part of my early years growing up, my dad had 2 and my nanny had seemingly fleets of them, buying a new one every 2 years.

A Range Rover. I've always loved them/wanted one, but their reputation for lousy build quality/reliability scares me off them though.
I was the same but convinced the wife to take the plunge just before Christmas. It's been great thus far, incredibly comfortable, fairly economical and just a relaxing thing to drive. Go on, you know you want to
For my know I shouldn't I've got a few jap ones I'm eyeing up:
Honda S660 - something about how dinky it is is appealing to me but price is prohibitive at the moment
Mazda RX7 FD - I don't need another weekend car but have recently reminded myself how good looking they are
Ford F150 - no practical use in this country but they look very cool!

Don't really know if it counts, I've been hankering for a GT86 as a potential daily for some time. Brain keeps on telling me it's silly. Not comfortable as a daily, not really all that practical, quite thirsty for what it is.
The current "Toy" is a Boxster S, so the fear really is not having a reason not to walk past the 86 and straight to the Boxster majority of the time.

A Land Rover 101 Forward Control.
It won't fit into the garage and I know it'll be slow, noisy, uncomfortable, thirstier than Oliver Reed and probably will be hideously uncomfortable to drive. I am also aware that Land Rover Monthly's buying guide gives the main negative point as "Monumental running costs, even by Land Rover standards".
But I don't care. I want one.
More specifically, this one - https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1557061

I'm with you on the yank pickup. What a wonderful drive mine was. Massively relaxing.
Admittedly not American , I had a Hilux for a while, loved the car but it was crap to drive and terrible for long journeys , ride was awful and really underpowered. One up to speed it was an OK motorway cruiser.Jag XJS with above poster on that loved those things when I was younger they are classics
