Hello

Something crossed my mind:

I have a high mileage car (XFR) and I actually have two warranties, one via the dealer and one via an external party which I've had for ages.

Both only cover 50% parts and labour, but, technically, of course together they make up 100%.

Has anyone ever claimed in such a way before? I don't have any issues per say, but good to know for the future!

Almost certainly says in the T's and C's that you can't... What you probably haven't seen is the bits that rule out pretty much any claim regardless. Not worth the paper they're written on as a rule.

I don't see why you couldn't do that - the problem I expect you'd have is getting a garage to deal with two warranty companies.

I'm bemused but the warranty you've got that you've had for ages - do you just keep a warranty running in the background?
