Should be a good topic for a Monday morning! What quotes or comments have you heard you disagree with?
My favs, driving is a privilege and not a right. Also you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic.
I think you'll have to explain why you disagree with those two as they are correct. My favs, driving is a privilege and not a right. Also you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic.
"BMW indicators don't work" would be mine as they do.

That's correct though
“I didn’t indicate as I didn’t see any other cars nearby”
Or
‘THEY should have braked and made room for ME as I was indicating as I changed lanes”
Or
“My car is MOT’d and Serviced annually, so ‘they, will tell me if my Tyres, wipers, brakes or bulbs need changing”
Always someone else’s fault, for lack of awareness.

"driving is a privilege and not a right." As long as I've have the legal status to drive, then I have the right to drive.
"you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic." I'm part of the traffic, so therefore I'm stuck in the traffic.

See the other thread, you have misunderstood privilege vs right. You are correct that once you have your licence then you have a right to drive, but you don't have a fundamental right to drive, just like you don't have a fundamental right to own a gun. You have a right to apply for a licence for either and are then bound by the conditions attached to that, and such conditions may be varied by the state.pocketspring said:

How about ‘when in a hole, stop digging’ ?"driving is a privilege and not a right." As long as I've have the legal status to drive, then I have the right to drive.
"you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic." I'm part of the traffic, so therefore I'm stuck in the traffic.
