I'm sure this happened last year, but I get the reminder, but then when I go to pay it's gone up.

My tax expires at the end of April, so I get the reminder in April, but perhaps it's generated and posted in March before the tax changes?

Even so, it's misleading and confusing.

Does this happen to everyone on the April boundary?

I'm surprised they don't put the correct uplifted prices on as there is no way you can actually pay the V11 prices.

10% more. That's another £50 I won't be spending elsewhere.

Ah just noticed the feint red text at the lower right, about budgets and prices might be wrong.

March 15th.

Oh just add the price to the cost of petrol and diesel already!

I had the same for years as my tax ran out at the end of March each year, my reminder said one price, but we'd have a govt budget and low and behold a higher price when I came to tax the car. Frustrating but I got used to it.

Yes you’ve spotted it. It’s to do with budget increases and is mentioned on the renewal reminder.

Yeah just paid today, never noticed before. Obviously straddling the March budget causes this disappointment every year hehe

I paid for both for the year.

£365 for my BMW 130i now. £200 for the BMW 335Xd.

Increasingly tempted to just have one car but my wife keeps coming up with hypothetical situations where we need a car each hehe

This is the first year I won't be paying on our three vehicles. Two zero rated diesels (DS3 and Cooper D) and our old van has just clicked over 40 years old.

Saving me over £500 this year, compared to last year....
