Does anyone know if a proper factory fitted, 5 point harness allows you to legally carry children in a car without a child seat?

Quickfit seatbelts do 4 point harnesses (not sure about 5 point) I’m looking at them for our rear seats in our 911 88 cab, just to go 5 miles to school and back alternatively what about front seat?

This was for the front seat but it’s gonna be a 911 Dakar so no isofix and no back seat sadly.

New Dakar ? Or older car converted to Dakar ?
Depending what gen 911 ?

We never used used rear seats when we put child seats in or 911’s on the older ones we removed the seat squab and the seats sat in better anyway.

Have done this in 1970 2.2s, 76 iroc race car through to 996 Gt3

If the new one, nice choice! The only modern 911 I'd consider.

Please tell me it has Martini stickers!

Forgive my ignorance as my new Porsche / daily is a Taycan but isn’t the safari homologated on a 992 so will have the fixings there under the carpets and I assume the removed sound deadening ?

If that’s the case al you need is the COA from Porsche for your insurers.

I know 997 gt3’s as an example didn’t have it but I believe (happy to be proved wrong) but 991 gt3’s have the isofix points under the carpet.

Your child will be big enough not to need it by the time it arrives..

It’s gonna have rear cage so back seat is not an option and front seat are full buckets not the 18 way seats.
And August delivery, so no she won’t be old enough.

I think you’re buggered I’m afraid !!

This is the reason I’ve sold 3 of my 2 seaters last year, still have another 2 to sell as I just never used them anymore as I have 2 kids under 4
