BMW G20 320i M Sport EPB
Discussion
Can anyone help please as I am getting no assistance from either two BMW dealerships nor BMW UK. We had a (2020) 320i Sport which, as per the How To video and Driver's Handbook automatically engaged the EPB when switched off when run with Auto Hold engaged.
We now have a late 2020 320i M Sport which seemingly only engages the EPB when it feels like it. One dealership dismissed it with 'We don't get problems with the EPB', the other with a long-winded explanation about how much pressure there was in the hydraulic system and added that all BMW models have different braking characteristics - really?
Personally, I found the feature extremely useful, especially as there is no longer a big lever to yank on and find it very odd that BMW appears to have opted for a hit-or-miss system.
Any information from other owners would be very much appreciated.
