Petrol and diesel prices reaching parity??

Just noticed that not only are fuels prices dropping, diesel seems to be dropping that much quicker. Nearly reaching parity with petrol. Just wondering why this is???

There's a bit of a spread here in Liverpool.

On Saturday saw garages showing unleaded/diesel at the same price (around 135p/L), to garages showing unleaded at 134p/L and diesel at 159p/L...all within about 4 mile radius.

I got mine from Costco.

In Creetown (Google it) Diesel is 1ppl cheaper than petrol.

Cheapest around where I am is 147.9p/L for diesel, and that's at a town centre Morrisons that's too far away! Filled up at Texaco for 149.9/L instead. The rest vary between 151.9p/L and 159.9p/L. Unleaded is 141.9 to 149.9p/L. There still seems to be a significant margin around our way, but it looks like we're being fleeced anyway!

Diesel B7 should be cheaper than petrol E10, by costings - and around here it has been lately.

Cheapest around here Swale in Kent is £1.45.7 for diesel and £1.44.7 for petrol.

I filled up at Grindley Brook Whitchurch (which is well known for cheap fuel) last Monday as I was driving down to Birmingham.

131.9 for diesel.

136.9 for petrol
