I can't see the scrotes on E-motorcycles doing as they are told if it comes here !
As for the admin headache, wow, do you register a child's bike ? does a balance bike need a plate ? is it going to be kids scooters too ? does it stop at skateboards ?
I cant imagine this actually happening in Italy, its an administrative nightmare.

“The road safety enforcements also include a lifetime ban for car drivers found to be under the influence of drugs, he said.” I’d be behind that for drug and alcohol driving though.
In part I agree, but a lifetime is a long time to be banned.I know a chap that got caught one morning when he got called to go into work and he was very marginally over the limit, he was mid thirties when it happened and is fully contrite, takes responsibility etc.
Took him some time to get behind the wheel again, and it was very costly, and he is super super cautious.
A lifetime ban doesnt allow for marginal cases or give any scope for people to learn and adapt, I think it’s about right at the moment.
Trouble is, that chap was mortified, embarrassed etc but a lot just shrug and carry on driving anyway, they really don’t care and am not sure for the committed pisshead whether they would take any notice anyway.

This sort of stuff is usually a right wing thing, I often seen news feeds pop up form the Dail Fail and Torygraph, this Govt and the Italian govt, about residnets 'fuming' about a cycle lane or LTNS, its always a sensationlist type headline and usually factually wrong.. Anyway, North Korea is a country and I beleive the only one that requires a bicycle identification.
I do wish this country was more progressive and let everyone go about its business without trying to divide. I speak as a driver, motorcyclist and cyclist.
