Hey all… abit of Friday fun

If you could pick only two cars - which you must keep for atleast 10 years which cars would you go for ( make, model, year)

I’l get ball rolling

1. Toyota landcruiser amazon 4.2 diesel - 2013 or so
2. Bentley Continental Flying Spur ( any year - although love the older ones)

Right now, the two we have suit us down to the ground for the remit

1. Volvo XC60. Owned since 2014 from new, high spec (adaptive cruise, flippy headlights, heated everything): the perfect comfy cruiser, luggage shifter - see below on one of many ski runs over the years - and a great tip run motor!
Likely to be run until it passes….used for 15-20% of our driving

2. Kona EV. 4 yrs, 45k miles….feels like driving the future, a tidy ‘hot hatch’ and very cheap to run, given 99% of our charging is from home!).
Likely to be the first we might replace, not sure what with….who knows, maybe we will foolishly run it for 10+ years too!

Pretty much this- the Range Rover I just acquired, plus a Singer or Tuthill 911. Perfect 2 car garage

Keep my up! GTI and add an Audi A8L, with a chauffeur for when I can't be bothered driving.

Lotus Elise S1

Pure, simple, fun, stimulating, exhilarating and enjoyable to the full on public roads in the UK.

Porsche 911 Carrera T

good daily, still built with driving in mind, minus some of more annoying characteristics (stupid fecking gear ratios) of the 'standard' cars.
