Long story short. Last year a woman hit my car which was stationary parked outside my house. She claimed full liability. I ran the claim through her insurer.. what a mistake.. the damage to my car was scratch to left door. They estimated the repair at 6.5 k!!! My car was worth over 10 and they wanted to write it off. I didputed this and said no way was it 6 k of damage, I wanted second assessment via my insurer . Her insurer bullied me trying g to get me to sign it off I strongly suspect they wanted to sell it on as its a limited edition vehicle. I challenged them and got my insurer involved. Her insurer refused to hand car back to my insurers repair people until I threatened them with the police. My insurer dealt with it snd the damage was no way near 6 k and then I discovered her insurer didn't even get a physical assessment done it was someone at a desk using my photos.... I was grateful my insurer helped me out - as they should. Just renewed my policy yesterday and did a check and the bs third party insurer have put me as cat N!!!! My insurer have requested its removed as they are not entitled to do this as they never dealt with the claim and it was NOT a write off. I am at the end of my tether with this and am now seeking legal advice this is outrageous and they should not be allowed get away with it because I stood up to them as bullies and fought my corner. My insurer thinks it was done in error but no matter.. can anyone advise what I should do? Its causing me to be really ill and tearful I just don't need another fight with them at the end of the day I did nothing wrong to start . Any advice gratefully received I'm hoping they can just remove this

Let them correct it, as your insurer has requested them to do.
