Stolen car removed from HPI register

My son’s BMW was stolen a week ago from Bromley in Kent, his insurance company advised him tonight it has been removed from the HPI register and no longer shows as stolen and asked whether he had recovered it, he hasn’t! He has checked with the Police and they say their records still show the car as stolen. I have checked tonight and it no longer shows as stolen on isitnicked.com. Does anyone know why this may have happened?


The car is a silver grey E90 M3 registration number YK59OYO just for information.
