Have You Ever Used A Waterless Carwash?
Discussion
Hi,
I've been trying to wash 2 of my cars all week, but it hasn't stopped raining all week in Ireland, so any time I have been out in them, I've put them back in my garage.
Both cars just need a light wash... i.e - there is no excessive dirt on either of them.
I would LOVE to be able to wash my cars in my garage, but I can't use a hose or have excess water on the floor. I also never just drive (move) my cars out of my garage without bringing their temperature up to operating level (i.e - 15 to 20 min spin to warm them up)... and then after a wash, I do the same as I don't like starting cars for 60 seconds and turning them off again... I know... I'm tiresome :-) hence it would be great if I could just pop out and wash them without having to bring them out of the garage.
I've been considering the "waterless or dry wash" route, for when they just need a light clean. Does anyone here use that process or has anyone had any issues with it? Both of my cars are PPF'd too so I'm hoping that makes it easier and less risky.

I’ve used Optimum No Rinse and it works.
I’d obviously try a small area first to convince yourself.
Intuitively you would expect to scratch the paint but you won’t if you follow the instructions.
Wish it was around when I used to lug buckets of water up and down from my 2nd floor flat to wash the car.

Yes.
Was given a bottle a couple of years ago & tried it out on Mrs p's 307.
No issues & for a quick clean of a cleanish car use it all the time.
Keep folding & changing the 'putter onner' microfibre so you're not building up lots of dirt & wiping that all over the car.
No brand loyalty so if you want recommendations you're going to have to wait for someone else.
