Nope that wins.

In my volvo I've had a whole brick garage, including asbestos roof and 8ft roller garage door.

Drove to the IOM from Bristol in the 80s in a striped out Morris Minor to pick up a sad looking BSA Rocket 3. I had to strip it down to get it all in, on the blokes drive.

A W reg polo GTI - had a cast iron bath half in/out of the boot years ago. The steering was extremely light all the way home (80 miles or so)

What kind of car can you fit a W reg polo GTI half containing a cast iron bath into the back of? Was it a Hummer?

I put a full sized sheep in the back of a Renault Scenic and drove from Manchester to Carlisle - certainly got some funny looks on the M6.

No matter what state it was in, it was better than the donkey up front, the Maxi engine was an awful.
Gutless and thirsty - probably like the donkey in the back seat, too.

Lots and lots of weapons in the back of a white fleet Astra that I'd picked up from the Royal Armouries for a display. Including a 9K32 Strela and it's associated missile. The amount of stuff filled up all of the back of the car, which meant the only place left for the missile was to plonk it on top...

I almost wanted to get stopped by the police biggrin

The thread title in what's new read as 'strangest thing you've put in your.......'

I'm disappointed that it didn't end in the word body.

Three transvestites and a male prostitute.

In my defence I was working in nightclubs in Brighton at the time - and I was only giving them a lift home.

A sack of coal. Not in itself odd, however, I was driving a Westfield XI (Lotus XI replica) at the time.

Last time I moved house I managed to move an entire (dismantled) Ikea Malm European double sized bed frame between properties in my E36 3 Series Coupé!

The contents of a fire extinguisher.

To be fair the interior of the car was on fire at the time, thanks to my hapless welding!

Tell us more! What was the rudder from, and what is the car?
