I purchased a new vehicle, the dealer has sent all the paperwork (Certificate of Conformity, personal Plate retention certificate, tax) to register it of to the DVLA and has told me it is OK to use whilst the application is processed. I have insured it and the dealer has put the personal plate on it. On checking the DVLA website "vehicle details not found" message comes up. Despite this the dealer says it is OK to use. I am reluctant to use it at present - I assume APNR etc may lead to a set of blue lights appearing in my mirrors.
Has anyone been in a similar situatiuon?

My newly registered bike didn’t appear on the DVLA site for nearly a month. Still wasn’t showing when I took it for first service at 620 miles. Just get on and drive it and keep the paperwork to hand incase you get stopped, or take pics and keep them on your phone.
