Help with plate change and V5

Hi All,

The chap I'm purchasing a car from has asked me to wait until he takes his personal plate off.

He said he did it online on Monday, any ideas how long it will take to get the V5 back?

I guess I should wait until the V5 comes back to him before I buy it right?

I added my plate to my current car, got the new V5 back in about 3 days time.

As you thought, it would be best to hold off buying it until he's got the new V5 back
