Temporary insurance suddenly stopped

Hi,
My kids have been using Veygo for temporary car insurance on my car. Suddenly, without obvious reason, the company is no longer providing new short term insurance for same individual and same car. Any obvious way to find out what reason for this is?
One possibility, the car had an old but active tracker in it from a previous insurance arrangement( different insurance company). Could data from this have been shared?

I have never used temp insurance but maybe they see it as more than temporary if your kids are using it on a regular basis, in which case wouldn't permanent insurance be better .
